Time is flying at the moment! One, I cannot believe we’re already in June, and two, I cannot believe that means we’re now less than a week away from the third of my ‘A Novel Approach’ workshops… This coming Saturday, the 8th June, I’ll be in North Shields Library, ready to help writers think about settings and locations.
It’s an important topic, and one I wrote about recently on Alison Morton’s blog. Now, sadly, your £15 ticket price doesn’t quite cover a trip to the setting of your own novel / story, but we’ll have plenty of exercises to help you bring it to life, whether it’s down the street, in another country, or in another time – the techniques are applicable to all.
Don’t worry if your idea is still in the early stages either; whether you’ve got the whole thing drafted and want help to polish some elements, or have just the inkling of an idea rattling around in your imagination, the workshop will help bring ideas together, and you can walk away with plenty of hints, tips and ideas to carry on after the workshop too.
Tickets are available here, and I cannot wait to see you on the day!
