A Novel Approach

Did you complete NaNoWriMo this year? Or did you, slightly enviously, look on whilst other writers logged their wordcounts, talking about daily and weekly targets, racing towards the fabulous fifty thousand? Is “write a novel” on your resolutions list for next year? If you fall into either of the latter camps, then I’ve got the perfect series of workshops planned for 2019…

Over the course of six sessions, we’ll look at each of the key stages of approaching a novel, from getting started, developing characters, looking at settings, and ultimately, how to get it ‘out there’, and touching briefly on promotion and publicity. We’ll have plenty of exercises to inspire ideas, and muster motivation, as well as sharing our own experiences (good and bad), to help each other out along the journey.

Each session costs £15, and includes a written critique on up to 1,000 words after each session, to help you find your way forward throughout the year.

Interested? Tickets are available now for the first two sessions, in February, and April, 2019, and if you have any queries at all, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

I cannot wait to hear from you, and help you get started in the new year!
