Park ‘n’ Write

Next Saturday, 29th July, sees the next workshop from The Next Page, hosted by Elaine Cusack and myself. And we’re leaving our regular haunt behind for the day, and getting out into the wild! Sort of…

Richardson Dees Park is one of Wallsend’s three main public parks, and we’ll be taking inspiration from the parks, their history and their wildlife to help you come up with some great writing.

There’ll be a mix of prompts, and of course, a chance to get out into the park itself to work on your ideas. Handily, we’ll be based in the Pavilion, adjacent to a rather nice café, because we all know writing needs at the very least a good brew, and can usually be enhanced by cake!

More details about the event can be found on its Facebook page, and tickets, just £10 for the 2.5hr session, can be purchased here.

If you have any queries about the event, don’t hesitate to get in touch, and we look forward to seeing you there!
